In the face of such irregularities, the Holy Grail War is twisted and driven into the depth of madness. The Holy Grail War is a battle for the wish-granting device known as the Holy Grail, in which mages summon Heroic Spirits and compete against one another to obtain it. Several years after the end of the Fifth Holy Grail War, a Holy Grail War filled with falsehoods begins in Snowfield, in the western United States.
