Kakeru Sorano, a shy university student, meets a young woman at his university’s welcome party for new students. Her name is Koharu Fuyutsuki. With the flawless looks of a model and the smile of an idol, she seems to Kakeru like someone from an entirely different world. Then she cheerfully says, “I can’t see.” That was how it all began. Even though she is blind, Koharu is cheerful and approaches everything with a positive attitude. By the time Kakeru begins to wonder about the difference between the world she sees without sight and the world he sees with it, he has also begun to want to help fulfill her dream: “Someday, I’d like to try setting off fireworks with my friends…” A special love shared only by the two of them, precisely because it cannot be seen. The work that won the Grand Prize at the 15th GA Bunko Awards—the first Grand Prize winner in four years—now receives a full-fledged manga adaptation!!

    • Season 1: The manga is a separate adaptation of the original novel. No manga volume or chapter has been confirmed as a continuation after the 12-episode anime; begin with manga volume 1 if you want to read its retelling.
