The Elusive Samurai

The year is 1333 AD. The Kamakura shogunate, which laid the foundations for samurai rule over Japan, falls to a rebellion by its trusted retainer, Ashikaga Takauji. Having lost everything and been plunged into the depths of despair, the shogunate’s rightful heir, Hojo Tokiyuki, escapes the burning city of Kamakura with the help of Suwa Yorishige, a priest who calls himself a god… At Suwa, where he finds refuge after his flight, Tokiyuki meets companions he can trust and builds up the strength to retake Kamakura.
