There were two sisters in the distinguished ducal House Sanchez. The elder, Flora, was a candidate for sainthood blessed with both beauty and talent. The younger, Carolina, was plain, talentless, and a failure… Then Carolina receives a marriage proposal involving the second imperial prince, intended to smooth relations with a neighboring country. The prince, however, is rumored to be barbaric and incomparably cruel. Thinking, “If even I can be of use,” Carolina accepts the political marriage, but once she marries, her life changes completely. The prince, who is a gentleman despite the rumors, and the empress recognize her true worth, and she learns to accept herself⁉ A manga adaptation of the winner of the Encouragement Award at the 2nd Earth Star Novel Awards!

    • Season 1: After the 12-episode first season, a reliable starting volume or chapter in the manga has not been confirmed. This is a separate adaptation of the novel, with its own pacing. Volume 9 introduces the preparations for the Saintly Trials, which the anime has already passed, so it should not be treated as a confirmed continuation after the finale.
